Yin Yoga Workshop next weekend @ Feel Yoga, Kingston, On

Posted on by Siobhan

Fall is a great time of transition for most of us and practice is a great way to keep us grounded and in the physical body, rather than allowing our thoughts to drift in the nethers of the land of future tripping. That place where everything is either lovely or horrible, depending on our mood, fears, and insecurities at the time.

If your normal practice as been derailed by summer, or you’ve been too busy lately to settle into a routine around your practice, why not come out and kick start your practice with this afternoon immersion into the Yin yoga? Whether you’re new to the practice or  a seasoned veteran, this workshop will allow you to reconnect with yourself on a deep level and provide insight into your current physical/mental/emotional condition.

In this three hour workshop we will focus on the foundations of the Yin yoga and explore it’s roots in mindfulness through two full sequences of practice. Students will have the opportunity to share their experiences in guided thought provoking discussion periods and have time throughout for journaling and reflection.

The workshop is conveniently located in Kingston, On so I hope to see many of our Ottawa and southeastern Ontario friends out for practice. This is the second in  a series of 6 workshops being held monthly through to Feb. so if you aren’t able to make this one, please consider joining us next month.
